How to install iDEAL in your payever account
To configure iDEAL, first open the Checkout app in your payever account. You can do this by clicking on the Checkout icon in the Business Apps section, or by clicking the Manage or Open button under Checkout.
Click on the Payment Options tab in the navigation bar on the left-hand side.
Click on + Add.
Now a list of available payment methods will appear. Find iDEAL and click Install.
After successful installation, click on Open.
You now need to choose between Stripe iDEAL and PPRO iDEAL.
If you’ve already signed up for Stripe or PPRO, select the acquirer accordingly.
If you still need to register with PPRO, just contact us at support@payever.de.
Click Connect next to the payment provider you want to use.
Connection to Stripe iDeal:
You will then be redirected to Stripe by clicking Connect.
You are forwarded to Stripe where you can log into your Stripe account. Now follow the instructions and provide the required information. At the end of the process you will be redirected back to payever.
Connection to PPRO iDeal:
You’ll now be prompted to enter your iDEAL credentials. These will be provided by your iDEAL provider or acquirer (e.g., merchant ID, API key). Enter the information and click Connect to activate iDEAL in your payever account.
Settings
After you return to payever, configure any additional settings and click Save and Done.
Email Notifications: Choose whether you want to receive Email Notifications for Status changes
Redirect to store after payment: Ensures that customers return to your shop after completing the transaction — we recommend enabling this.
Display Settings
You can configure how the payment method is presented to your customers during the checkout process. This includes customizing the display text and logo, defining the countries in which the payment method is available, and setting minimum and maximum transaction amount limits.
These settings allow you to ensure that the payment method is shown only to the appropriate customers and under the desired conditions.

How to activate iDeal in your store
You can enable or disable iDEAL anytime via Checkout App > Payment Options using the toggle switch. When deactivated, it automatically disappears from your checkout — no further action is needed in your store.
