Wero is a new European instant payment solution developed by the European Payments Initiative (EPI). It enables consumers to make instant account-to-account payments through their bank’s app or interface. Wero focuses on secure, seamless transactions within the EU and is designed as a European alternative to international payment providers.

How to install Wero in your payever account
To configure Wero, start by opening the Checkout app in your payever account or directly go to the Connect App. You can access it via the Checkout icon in Business Apps or by clicking Manage or Open on the Checkout module.
In the navigation on the left, click on Payment Options.
Then click + Add to open the list of available payment methods.
Find Wero in the list and click Install.
After successful installation, click Open.
You will now be asked to enter your Wero credentials. These are provided by your acquiring partner. Fill in the fields and click Connect.
Settings
Make any further configuration changes, then click Save and Done.
Display Settings
You can configure how the payment method is presented to your customers during the checkout process. This includes customizing the display text and logo, defining the countries in which the payment method is available, and setting minimum and maximum transaction amount limits.
These settings allow you to ensure that the payment method is shown only to the appropriate customers and under the desired conditions.

How to activate Wero in your store
You can activate or deactivate Wero anytime under Checkout > Payment Options by using the toggle. It will immediately appear or disappear in your online shop’s checkout without any code changes.
